Last year we were surprised when large numbers of people descended on Fremont and after enquiring what they were doing, we were told about Geocaching &#8211; neither Alice nor I had heard about it before. To me it seems like hide and seek for adults using GPS devices to find hidden caches.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/waynemorrisoz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Geocaching-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"  wp-image-89 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/waynemorrisoz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Geocaching-2-300x159.jpg\" alt=\"Geocaching 2\" width=\"364\" height=\"193\" srcset=\"https:\/\/waynemorrisoz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Geocaching-2-300x159.jpg 300w, https:\/\/waynemorrisoz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Geocaching-2-1024x542.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/waynemorrisoz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Geocaching-2.jpg 1298w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 364px) 100vw, 364px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This year it was on again.\u00a0 More than 4,000 people showed up &#8211; mostly geeky and not very fit looking\u00a0but they all seemed to be having some fun.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I clearly don&#8217;t understand this activity as\u00a0no one seemed in much of a hurry and were leisurely ambling around looking intently at their GPS units.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/waynemorrisoz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Geocaching-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-88 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/waynemorrisoz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Geocaching-1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Geocaching 1\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/waynemorrisoz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Geocaching-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/waynemorrisoz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Geocaching-1.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>The Geocaching headquarters is in the building next to our houseboat and this year\u00a0was their 15th anniversary so they went all out, including dressing up the statues &#8220;Waiting for the Interurban&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Never a dull moment in the center of the universe \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It happened again!
